The Nowgen Centre, 29 Grafton Street, Manchester, M13 9WU This course is suitable for genetics trainees and established scientists, providing both an introduction to the topic and more challenging content for experienced users. Focusing on practical exercise-based training, the content includes a foundation of essential bioinformatic theory, the basics of tool operation, up to advanced use and the critical evaluation of key tools.
The half-day session on the morning of 24 May is run by the Ensembl Outreach Team for those wanting a more detailed insight into the advanced features of the Ensembl Genome Browser.
